Internship: KKB safety analysis and thermo/hydraulic modelling

The KBR-A group of the Beznau nuclear power plant (KKB) is responsible for deterministic safety analysis and safety relevant design aspects of the nuclear island. In order to keep up with technological and regulatory developments safety analysis are revisited on a regular basis. The intern is expected to contribute to ongoing investigations and analysis, which are developed in a team effort.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside nuclear experts and apply your academic and research background in real industrial applications. In this project you will have the opportunity to work at the Beznau nuclear power plant (with 20% home-office option). The duration of the project is restricted to a 3-months summer internship.
